We welcomed Ellesmere Rangers to Greenfields for the Over 60s 1st round WFA National Cup. It was a well contested tight match. Ellesmere were 1- 0 up at half time but MD came back to take it into extra time. 1-1 at full time. No further goals in extra time meant that it went to penalties.
Penalties were 2-2 after 3 each, then onto sudden death with MDWFC winning 4-3. Alan Cowdale starring in goal for us.
