An easy way to remember them is by using the acronym 'CRICCIT'

Commitment
Definition
The state of being dedicated to a cause or activity.
For the Club
Having the club’s best interests at heart and being keen to help move the club forward in whatever way possible.
Examples
Car park assistance. Line painting. Help to the parent club.

Having due regard for the feelings, wishes or rights of others.
For the Club
Understanding that all members are equally important to the club and deserve to be all treated the same.
Examples
Respecting the referee’s decision. Valuing difference.
Integrity
Definition
The quality of being honest and having strong moral principles.
For the Club
Gaining and maintaining the trust of members by always ‘doing the right thing’.
Examples
Paying fees. Apologising for bad tackles/behaviour.

Definition
The condition of sharing or having certain attitudes and interests in common.
For the Club
Having a positive attitude towards the internal communal aspects of club life and its place within the external community.
Examples
Attendance at social events. Enhancing the profile of the club in the local community.
Compassion
Definition
Recognition of, and action upon, the suffering of others.
For the Club
Understanding that different members have different reasons for being at the club (Social/Physical/Mental).
Examples
Respecting health conditions of members. Respecting age of members.

A desire to constantly make something better.

Actively suggesting improvements to all aspects of club life.

Introduction of Team Management App. Creation of formal governance framework.

Collaborative effort of a group to achieve a common goal in an effective, efficient way.
For the Club
Working together as a team, both in tournaments to win trophies and, during sessions, to generally enhance the enjoyment of the game/club.
Examples
Aim to avoid internal arguing. Healthy debate is fine but keep it civil.
