We opened brightly, keeping possession and creating chances. We looked solid in defence and played at a high tempo. Goals by David Moore and Darren Clifton sealed the win.

We dominated the entire match and could have won by a greater margin. We were pegged back at one stage when Telford scored in a breakaway to make the score 1-1. We quickly restored our lead and ran out easy winners. David Moore's 3 goals was the first ever league hat-trick for a Market Drayton player.

A close game although we always looked the stronger side. A David Moore strike, following a free kick, proved to be the winner. Both goalkeepers made fine saves and it was an exciting encounter. Both teams missed chances and it was a relief to hear the final whistle.
